Todd Kruse, Chairperson
First Term, 2011-2014
Todd Kruse is married to Christie, and they have three children: Mackenzie, Zachary, and Erin. Todd enjoys farming and riding ATV's. What Todd loves most about New Hope are the relationships he has built over the years serving and attending New Hope with like-minded Christ following people who share the same passion for Christ. This has helped Todd grow in his own walk. Todd’s favorite Bible verse is Matthew 19:26, “But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

Marc Carlson, Treasurer
First Term, 2010-2013
Marc Carlson is married to Margaret, and they have two children together, Ken 32, Danielle 24, and 4 grandchildren. Marc loves playing volleyball and softball, and also likes hunting, fishing and other outdoor sports. What Marc loves most about New Hope is the opportunity to serve in a church that has so much potential for changing the lives of attenders. Marc’s favorite Bible passage is in the book of Psalms, Psalm 19.

Jerry Fromm, Secretary
First Term, 2012-2015
Jerry is married to Marilyn and they have 7 wonderful children and 21 grandchildren. Jerry enjoys reading, hanging out with his family and friends at the family cabin, golfing and hunting. He also enjoys working in his flower garden in his leisure time. What Jerry loves about New Hope are the relationships built between one another and seeing the Holy Spirit transform and restore lives. Jerry's spiritual gift is serving and encouraging. Through the years he has served as a mentor, small group leader, prayer minister, and Community Central volunteer, as well as in a variety of other ways around New Hope. He has also served on an Elder Board at one of his previous churches. Jerry and Marilyn reside in Cambridge. One of Jerry’s favorite Bible verses: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Randy Cross
Second Term, 2007-2013
Randy Cross is married to Lea, and they have 2 children together and four grandchildren. Randy loves hunting, hiking and horseback riding. What Randy loves most about New Hope is how everyone is welcome, not one of us is perfect, and that we are all accepted. One of Randy’s favorite Bible verses is Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”

Michael Pasch
Second Term, 2012-2015
Michael Pasch is married to Kathleen, and they have four children together: Emma who is 18, Keely who is 17, Jacob who is 15, Michaela who is 14. Michael has many hobbies, too many to mention. What Michael loves most about New Hope is seeing the growth in the people and in the church. Lives are being changed. One of Michael’s favorite Bible verses is Romans 6:22, “But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.”

Glen Madison
First Term, 2010-2013
Glenn Madison is married to Marcia, and they have three children together: Jason, Sarah, and Adam. They have eight grandchildren: Wyatt, Taylor, Samuel, Grace, Josie, Liam, Isobel, and Trent. Glenn enjoys riding ATV’s, firearm shooting sports, and being a grandpa. What Glenn loves about New Hope is all the great people with which he is able to serve God. He feels truly blessed!!! Glenn’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:1,“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”

Jeff Cheney
First Term, 2011-2014
Jeff is married to Kim, and they have four children together: Mike, Matt, (and Amy), Nicole, Travis, (and Selena), whose ages range from 22 and 29. Jeff has many hobbies, with racing being at the top of the list. What Jeff loves most about New Hope is that we are about meeting God where people are at. He loves that we are solely Bible-based and the leadership of our church is passionate about helping others experience a real walk with God. One of Jeff’s favorite Bible verses is Phillippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Shannon Boettcher
First Term, 2012-2013
Shannon and his wife Kristie have six children: Ben, Lydia, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, Chloe, and Caleb. Shannon and Kristie have been a part of New Hope since its days at First Baptist. Shannon surrendered his life to Christ in the spring of 1985. Shannon's spirititual gifting includes helping and teaching. Shannon has taught Sunday school, helped fix things around the church, served on Pit Crew, and encouraged others in growing in God's Word. He enjoys going to the North Shore, hunting and fishing. What Shannon likes about New Hope is people are experiencing God and His grace to heal and restore their lives. One of Shannon's favorite verses is Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Bill Berg, Lead Pastor
Ex Officio
Bill is the lead pastor of teaching and vision at New Hope. Bill is married to his wonderful wife Cherie, who is a Speech Therapist at Cambridge Intermediate School. They have four awesome girls, Jamey, Kelly, Megan, and Katelyn. Bill and Cherie are “cheesheads,” originally from the Milwaukee area. Bill enjoys any sports having to do with water--both liquid and frozen. Their favorite family destination is the gulf side of Florida--on the water, of course. Bill's background is in education with a K-12 B.S. from the University of Wisconsin, Lacrosse, and after his call to ministry, he received a Masters of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN. "The hobby I love to try but am not good at is building & fixing things," says Bill. Bill's favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “In Jesus who is the source of my strength, I have strength for everything.”
