September ~ New this fall,
Women’s Coffees
Our team would like to meet with
women from the church to see how the
Women’s Ministries of New Hope
Community Church can better serve
you. We are beginning by calling
those who have been involved in the
Women’s Ministries events, but if
you are interested in coming to one
of our coffee fellowship times,
please contact the church office or
womensministries@newhopecambridge.org.
Another way you can give is
feedback, is by taking a short
on-line survey. Please click on the
link and take the survey. All
responses are anonymous. We do not
intend the on-line survey to take
the place of the “coffees,” so
please do both!

Collection days for Operation
Christmas Child.
Target and Factory Brand Shoes are
donating shoe boxes. Let's fill them
ALL and bless hundreds of under
privileged children this year
through Operation Christmas Child.
We have lots of stuffed animals but
need other items to fill the boxes.
Please bring school supplies, small
toys, hard candy, socks, gloves,
t-shirts, combs, toothbrushes/paste,
etc. See the idea list in Guest
Central.
October 26th ~ Chili Feed
Fundraiser
We hope to get the entire church
involved in this event! Small
groups, Sunday School classes,
families and individuals can help
out with making chili (recipe
provided), baking bars/cookies,
making a basket for the silent
auction, and or providing services
that can be auctioned off. See the
sign-up sheets for food at Guest
Central. Proceeds from this
fundraiser will go to send the
shoeboxes to Operation Christmas
Child (the suggested donation is $7
per box). All other funds will go to
the NHCC land fund. Invite your
family and friends to come to this
event.
Let's take a chunk out of the land
debt AND send all our shoe boxes to
children in need!
November 17 – 24 ~ Operation
Christmas Child Collection Week
Volunteers are needed to work at the
warehouse accepting boxes from our
region. Stop by the collection area
in Guest Central for more
information.
November 22 ~ Packing Party!
We will be packing shoe boxes on
Saturday, November 22, at the Read
Ministries warehouse on South
Garfield in Cambridge. We hope to
involve many groups from the church
to cover the boxes in gift wrap, and
fill them with the many items we
have been collecting! Refreshments
will be provided!
December 11th ~ Our Annual
Christmas Tea
Come, cozy up to the fireplace, and
have some holiday treats with
friends both old and new! Women’s
Ministries provides the
refreshments, you just need to come
on over!
